Management Team

Curonia's management team includes people with extensive previous experience in IT and life sciences industry.

Rainer Nõlvak

Rainer Nõlvak is a Chairman of the Board in Curonia Research. Mr. Nõlvak is a well-known a business angel and entrepreneur. He founded Microlink, the largest computer manufacturer in Baltic States and also the leading internet service provider Delfi. He is well-known for his personal commitment and involvement in his investments. Mr. Nõlvak's is an authority in the matters of life sciences, IT and energy industry.

Ardo Reinsalu

Mr. Reinsalu acts as General Manager of Curonia Research. His previous expertise includes management in IT industry. Mr. Reinsalu has started and managed several of Curonia's investments. He has coordinated a European Commission fostered remote care project doc@HOME and is a Head of Investment Committee of Estonian Development Fund - a national development fund that makes venture capital investments into Estonian companies that are innovative, expanding and have international potential. Kristjan Port

Kristjan Port is the Director of R&D in Curonia. Mr. Port acts also as a Professor of Applied Physiology and Biochemistry, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Head of the Laboratory of Functional Testing of Human in Tallinn University. He is active in the field of physiological and biochemical monitoring and related technology development.

Merje Muiste

Ms. Muiste works as a Researcher and Analyst in energy sector, particularly with hydrogen production technologies. She got her BA in Landscape Protection and Management and has produced several reports on environmental protection.
